America's Long Weekend

Since most people either have the day off, leave early, or merely pretend to "work" tomorrow, I thought I would address the long weekend today! I myself wish I could take the day off, but sadly I will be in the office. I have hopes of solidifying a flight to Orange County today with the bf to visit my sister and aunt on the west coast.

Finally Moving

I think I'm out of the storm in terms of my work, and I finally seem to be able to move through the day and handle my projects and clients a little more effortlessly (or so I think I look).

Had a wonderful weekend full of sunshine and relaxation- is it sad I'm already looking forward to the coming weekend... it is Monday after all! Tomorrow I'm hoping to purchase my plane ticket to visit my darling sister in Orange County. Who wouldn't want a 3-day weekend full of sunshine, sand, convertibles, and friends?!?

Mellow Monday

With the grey skies and rain, I am in a mellow mood today and needed something to keep me awake at 7am without being too overwhelming... then I randomly had a stroke of genius- Do or Die! It has turned out to be the perfect working music for me today- the Pandora station is bringing back memory after memory with each song it plays, and I'm an overall fan.

Thank goodness the weekend has finally arrived. I need to use this time to catch up on my life outside of work, relax, and of course spend time with my papa- it's Father's Day this weekend in case you forgot!
