I find that whenever I'm feeling out of sorts (whether it be after a night of one too many cocktails or otherwise) I like to hide behind my fashion- specifically my glasses. I absolutely adore my bright red Vogue frames I found on a trip to Paris years ago, but I definitely could see myself feeling just as safe behind any of these items:

Mood Indigo
Lately I've been in somewhat of a slump. Call it what you will, but when I heard Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington's "Mood Indigo" pop up on my Jazz Pandora station at work, the concept of the blues finally struck a chord with me. Until this point I had always heard that you need to feel the blues to understand the blues- and on a day where I was not feeling too hot- I discovered the beauty of the genre.
