Hanging On

Lets just start this post off with a GIANT "I'm sorry!"

I'm sorry I've left your life void of new crazy music, I'm sorry you've had no idea what color to paint your nails, I'm sorry I haven't updated in almost two and a half months.  OK.  So I'm sure it's not that serious, but I know I've missed sharing all of my fun finds with you all!

The good news? I'm baaaacccckkkkk.  Lets kick things off with an Ellie Goulding and Tinie Tempah callabo- how could this NOT be good!?!

To my continually loyal readers, thanks for hanging on!  I've got plenty of fun things coming up and I have plans to share every minute of it I can with you all.

Lights

Ellie Goulding and Bassnectar? Yes, please! The video is a pretty awesome fit for the remix.

Monday's are always a tough day to get motivated, especially when Sundays are spent so amazingly lazy. Have a number of after work meetings this week so time to man-up and get over the grogginess brought on by a weekend of significant frolicking. Did anyone else enjoy a good run in the rain Friday night- or was it just me?!?

Starry Eyed Daydreaming

One of my all-time favorite songs is this killer Jakwob remix of Ellie Goulding's song "Starry Eyed". Even years later it still pumps me up for anything- whether it be the gym, chores around the house, or even more creative outlets- blogging perhaps?

In my search for the Ellie Goulding mix by Jakwob, I came across one he did of the self proclaimed "Chi-town debutante," a.k.a. Kid Sister's song "Daydreaming". I definitely am a fan of this mix as well:

Happy dreaming whether it be day or night kidlets!

Relax

Ooof- what a day it's been! Somehow I feel like I've climbed a mountain when in reality I think I am just lethargic from doing very little- both physically and mentally. I heard via Nylon Mag's twitter feed that there was a metal detector at Vivienne Westwood's show today in London Fashion Week. As the tweet posed- this was a problem for all the fashionistas rocking Burberry:

Ellie Goulding looks adorable in this Burberry Prorsum number she was seen wearing yesterday. Imagine trying to get through metal detectors in this!
