Well alarm, you managed to fail me for no reason this morning... good thing I woke up a few minutes before 9am to rush to work!  So I could be hurting more than I am after last night's impromptu après-ski night out in the first intense snow of the season- I guess that's one positive thing!

Anywho- decided to share, not one, but TWO songs today (don't act like you're not super stoked about this).  Last night was a crazy fun dance party wherever I was, so go ahead and ignore the fact that one song talks about "those crazy summer nights" that we all know Chicago will be missing come March, and just start your own dance party wherever you are today.

I Took a Little Something

After an uber stressful 24 hours at work, I'm going to need a little something to pass out early tonight and sleep!  If it weren't for delicious 80s pop-esque tunes to keep me dancing in my chair, I don't know how I would make it through the days sometimes...

I'm currently obsessing over the UK artist Florrie.  Not only are her songs fun and make me want to dance, but she's super cute and eclectic to boot!  Just check out the array of pics below- love it!

I've been working on rejuvenation at the beginning of 2012, and I am proud to report I've been doing a pretty stellar job so far!  Striking the balance between fun and relaxation can be a job in and of itself sometimes...

Steady Swinging into the New Year

HELLLLOOOOOO 2012!!! How are you feeling?  After a long several days of closing out 2011 with a bang, I thoroughly enjoyed lounging around (and by that I mean, literally not moving from my bed except for food and water) for the past 2 days recovering.  I'm feeling almost well-rested and even did the 20 minute walk to work this morning...in 13 degree weather- that's no joke!

So here's a song that has been on repeat since Thursday night- cheers and best of luck jumping right in to whatever you want to achieve in 2012!
