My Weekend In Pictures: 5/6

Yelle show was awesome, the 2+ mile walk back to River North from The Bottom Lounge (concert venue) in the West Loop with an old friend was equally awesome, the dinner and free drinks at Vivo (seriously amazing food) thanks to a Miss Amber was awesome... My friday was just phenom!

Saturday at Sunda I had one of the best bites of food of my life thus far at a friend's birthday dinner- let me describe: escolar (white tuna) around rice, ok typical sushi bite thus far BUT THEN...top with a homemade potato chip...and top that with a piece of black truffle. I'm starting to salivate just thinking about it...

This is what my week has looked like so far and will continue to until Friday I fear:

GT Fish and Oyster for dinner tonight with Natasha the Crusher- will snap some pics to share tomorrow- can't wait! I'm going to try some new items this time...maybe. I can't help it- I'm a girl who loves her some lobster!

Je Veux Te Voir

Excited to see Yelle tonight at The Bottom Lounge! I'm looking forward to an exciting show full of dancing...assuming my legs are still moving come 9pm. Boot camp last night has pretty much put my legs out of commission today... I'm not lying when I say I am falling into my chair anytime I have to stand up and sit back down. *Sigh* I just keep reminding myself- no pain, no gain!

Keeping it in the Family

The HBO Go app was released at midnight last night and it has been getting awesome reviews and is already at #2, but you want to know what's even cooler? My dad was the head of development! Everyone is allowed to brag here and there right? My family has definitely kept the tech-y-ness in the family with my sister and myself, and I couldn't be more proud of my father. After all, he's the reason I am in software development as my main profession and I absolutely love it!

While I haven't talked about it too much yet- you may or may not have noticed the "Present Polish" section of this site. Why 'Present Polish' you may ask?
